Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and The Westerne Company (“we”), a Wyoming company, for your use of Vizirack — the website, the app and everything in them. By creating an account or using Vizirack you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Vizirack.

What Vizirack is

  • AI Rack Read looks at a photo you upload and estimates a score and a score class for the animal in it.
  • Quick Judge takes what you glass — spread, a side, mass — and turns it into a fast gross bracket.
  • Score Sheet takes the measurements you tape and works them into a Boone & Crockett, Pope & Young or SCI-style score — gross, net and the breakdown behind them.
  • Your trophy room and hit list keep what you’ve taken and what you’re after: species, measurements, scores, photos, dates, the weapon you used, where you hunted and your notes.
  • Rack IQ is a daily game: three animals, you guess each gross score, then see your guess against Vizirack’s and against the real number. Rounds are ranked on public leaderboards.

Scores are estimates — please read this part

  • An AI Rack Read is an estimate from a photograph, not a measurement. It can be wrong, and it is wrong more often on bad photos, odd angles, unusual racks and species it knows less well.
  • Nothing Vizirack produces is an official score or a record-book entry. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Boone & Crockett Club, Pope & Young Club or Safari Club International, and a Vizirack number is not accepted by any of them. An official score can only come from that organization’s own measurer, on their own schedule, after their own drying period.
  • Don’t use a Vizirack score to decide whether an animal is legal to take. Point restrictions, antler minimums and size rules are judged by the game agency, not by us.
  • Don’t use Vizirack to decide whether something is safe. Judging an animal, a shot or the country you’re in is your call, made on what’s in front of you.

Hunting law is your responsibility

You are responsible for hunting legally: licenses and tags, seasons, units and boundaries, legal weapons and hours, bag limits, tagging, transport and possession rules, and what you may do with antlers, horns and sheds. Rules differ by state, by unit and by year, and Vizirack does not check any of them for you. Always follow the official regulations from the agency where you are hunting. Don’t use Vizirack to help plan or record anything unlawful.

Your account

  • You must be at least 13 to use Vizirack, and 18 (or have a parent’s permission) to buy a plan or a pack.
  • Give a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is in your account.
  • One person per account. Accounts created by bots or scripts may be removed.

Plans, reads and billing

  • Free costs nothing and includes 3 AI Rack Reads in total — a lifetime trial, not a monthly allowance. It never resets. Quick Judge, Score Sheet, Rack IQ, your trophy room, your hit list and photo storage are unlimited on every plan; the yearly allowances below are for AI Rack Reads only.
  • Vizirack AI (75 AI Rack Reads a year) and Vizirack Pro (250 a year) are annual subscriptions, billed in advance at the price shown on the Pricing page when you subscribe. They renew automatically each year until you cancel.
  • Your yearly allowance resets on the anniversary of your subscription. Unused reads don’t carry over into the next year.
  • Read packs are a one-time purchase — 25 AI Rack Reads, no subscription. Pack reads don’t expire while your account is open, and they stay with you if you later cancel a plan.
  • Cancel any time through the billing portal on the Pricing page, which opens Stripe’s own portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the year you’ve paid for, then your account moves to Free. Your trophies, photos and scores stay yours either way.
  • To move between paid tiers, cancel the one you’re on or email us — the checkout won’t start a second subscription while one is active.
  • No refunds for part of a year, for unused reads or for packs, except where the law requires one. If a charge went wrong, or a read failed and still cost you, email us and we’ll put it right.
  • If we change a price we’ll tell you before it applies to you, and it takes effect at your next renewal.
  • Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us. Your purchase is also subject to Stripe’s terms.

Your photos and records

  • You own the photos, measurements, scores and notes you put into Vizirack. You give us permission to store and process them so the app works for you — which includes sending a photo you choose to score to our AI provider for analysis (see the Privacy Policy for who that is). A photo you only score isn’t kept; it becomes a stored photo when you save the animal.
  • That permission is only for running Vizirack for you. We won’t use your photos in our marketing, on a public page or anywhere else outside your own account without asking you first. Nothing in your trophy room is shown to other users; the one way a photo of yours becomes public is you sending it in to Rack IQ, below.
  • Only upload photos you took or have the right to use. Don’t upload other people’s photos without their permission, photos of people who don’t want to be in them, or anything unlawful, stolen or gratuitous. We may remove a photo that breaks this.
  • Share cards are made on request and handed to your device. They carry our name and marks, and you’re welcome to post them. When you do, you are the one publishing that photo, and you confirm you have the right to. The marks on the card stay ours; the photo stays yours.

Rack IQ

  • Playing. Your first guess on an animal is the one that counts — there’s no second try at the same photo. Play it straight: one account per person, no scripts, no passing answers around, and no accounts made to pad a board. We may remove rounds, take an account off the leaderboards, or close it, if it’s being gamed.
  • The answers are owner-supplied numbers. Each animal is graded against a gross score given to us by whoever owns the photo, usually a green tape and usually not an official measurement. It’s the number both you and Vizirack are scored against, not a record-book entry.
  • Your leaderboard name is a shortened form of the name you gave when you signed up, and other players see it. Give a real one, and not a name that impersonates someone else. The app has no way to change it yet — email us and we’ll change it or keep you off the boards.
  • Sending in a photo. You keep it. By sending it you confirm that you hold the rights to it, that anyone identifiable in it has agreed to appear — with a parent’s or guardian’s agreement for anyone under 18 — and that the score you give is honest and says how it was measured. You give us permission to show that photo to other players in Rack IQ, with its score and, if you asked for credit, your name. That permission runs until you withdraw it.
  • Letting us test against it is separate. Sending a photo in doesn’t put it in front of our AI provider — that happens only if you tick the box that says so.
  • Withdrawing. Email us and we’ll take your photo out of Rack IQ. Rounds people already played against it keep the result they were graded on.
  • We review every submission before it reaches players, and we don’t have to accept one. A photo that’s unclear, carries a watermark or date stamp, or arrives with a score we can’t stand behind, doesn’t go in.

Fair use

Don’t misuse Vizirack: no scraping or automated access, no working around read limits or security, no reselling access or passing your account around, no reverse-engineering the scoring engines, and no uploading anything designed to break the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Our content

Vizirack — the app, its design, our writing, our scoring implementation and the prompts behind it — belongs to us. The measuring systems themselves belong to the organizations that publish them, and their names are used here only to say which method a workup follows.

Disclaimers and limits

Vizirack is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise that a score, class or estimate is accurate, that the app is always available, or that photos are never lost — keep your own copies of pictures that matter to you. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything arising from relying on a score, an estimate, or anything else in the app when hunting; and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can stop using Vizirack whenever you like, and cancel a plan through the billing portal. To have your account and everything in it deleted, email hello@vizirack.com and we’ll delete it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; if we close a paid account for any other reason, we’ll refund the unused part of the year.

Changes and the law

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll say so before it takes effect, and continuing to use Vizirack after that means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming. See also the Privacy Policy.
